About the project

Internal IT is as crucial as it's painful to deal with. Nothing clear, light and intuitive UX/UI can’t solve. The Y-Combinator-backed tech company approached us with an ambitious objective: Bring their brand and product from a DIY-state to state-of-the-art. We were instantly captivated by the awesome team and went to work. The project can be split into phases:

Brand and product workshop aligning everyone, scoping the work and setting the strategic foundation for everything to come.
Creating the branding by deploying hand-crafted illustrations, AI-generated spaceships and a logo that could go on the hull of a spaceship.
Crafting a website experience that bringing the brand to life online with a bold presence that transports the viewer into space-age dreaminess. Implement the website as a modular system that doesn't look modular, in Next.js & Dato, with special focus on performance and maintainability.
Applying the branding to product design, creating a unique and intuitive UI that makes complex interactions feel easy and approachable.
Integrate with the client's dev team and create ready-to-use React components.
Support the client with QA and polishing wherever needed to make sure both site and product can compete with the best.

Following the successful launch, we still support Flightcontrol retainer-style with feature updates, website edits and some marketing material. We've also become partners in the company, taking a share of our payment in equity.
