About the project

Blue Alliance is a unique investment group founded by MSPs for MSP. Unlike competitors, Blue Alliance enables their portfolio companies to retain their original names and local market connections while enhancing effectiveness through comprehensive back-office and operational support, including website management and digital strategy. Path Forward is a best-of-class IT MSP that specializes in the healthcare industry.

Traditionally, when Blue Alliance has acquired an MSP, that MSP maintains their own individual website- all on differing platforms, and there is no unified structure or design aesthetic that brings ties the MSP’s together or back to Blue Alliance.

Dot Dash established a unified design system that targeted the unique needs of each of the MSP’s while also providing a templated structure for each of the individual sites that leveraged unique branding and verticals. This unified design system became the foundation of the backend CMS architecture within DATO.

We leveraged DATO to create global components and flexible page templates that MSP’s could utilize to build their unique sites while staying within the design framework of the overall Blue Alliance architecture. Our DATO architecture build reflects a multi-site approach, extreme flexibility, unique brand themes, and the ability to manage and maintain all sites from a singular CMS. The Blue Alliance is now able to support its brand's digital needs from a single place, and MSPs have the opportunity to make content or page edits as needed, leveraging user permissions.
