Smartvatten makes meters, sensors and software that show how water is used across buildings and water networks.
Their old website had grown to about a thousand pages, and the marketing team relied on developers for most changes. Before building anything, we went through every URL and decided whether to keep it, merge it or retire it, and where each old address should redirect. I then rebuilt the site on Next.js and DatoCMS and brought over the news archive and case studies.
Pages are now assembled from a library of around 40 sections, including heroes, feature grids, pricing tables, FAQs, testimonials and forms, so the team can put together a new landing page on their own. Editors get a live preview and can click any text on the page to jump straight to the field that controls it.
