This was one of our most complex projects on DatoCMS.

The audio player is the core of the website. It supports both Shoutcast and HLS streams which means that the bitrate adapts to your internet speed. It is chained together with a video player, that serves video pre-rolls from an AdServer for each audio stream and enables monetization.

Player background images are gathered from an external API, matched with artists and are pushed to the website along with song titles via WebSockets and synced with live audio playback.

DatoCMS servers as the core of the website and glues everything together in a seamless and editor-friendly way.
